The “coronavirus” or “COVID-19” continues to generate concern globally, domestically and locally. The City of Wildomar is integrated into the emergency management functions and oversight of the County of Riverside Emergency Management Department. The City of Wildomar as a local government agency remains closely engaged with our County Health and emergency management partners. The City encourages residents to monitor Riverside County Public Health for the latest updates in our region https://rivcoph.org/coronavirus, which also includes informational videos and links to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for national and international updates.

City Facilities

City hall is closed to in-person visits until further notice. Staff is still working and accepting calls, email and appointments during regular business hours Monday-Thursday 8am.-5pm. Visit City department websites for contact information.

Marna O'Brien Park, Regency Heritage Park & Windsong Park: Tot lots (playground equipment) and basketball courts are closed until further notice.

City Events Cancelled or to be Rescheduled  

     1. Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt – April 4, 2020 at Marna O’Brien Park starting at 9:00 a.m. 
     2. Teen Egg Hunt – April 4, 2020 at Marna O’Brien Park starting at 8:00 p.m. 
     3. Health Fair / ALS Run – April 18, 2020 at Marna O’Brien Park starting at 7:00 a.m. 

 Rescheduling of cancelled events will be determined at a later date.

City of Wildomar to Permit Some Activities at Parks

Pursuant to Riverside County’s orders on 4/20/2020 to cautiously reopen golf courses, parks, hiking trails and related parking lots, the City of Wildomar has reopened our city parks to limited recreational use as defined in the County’s orders. Social distancing, face covering and no-congregating guidelines must be followed in order for these venues to remain open. Playgrounds, playground equipment and public restrooms will remain closed until further direction is given by the State and/or County.

Activities that create contact with individuals, fixed objects or shared items (such as picnic tables and playgrounds), activities involving groups of children, adult or children team sports, spectator sports, or other similar public or private events and gatherings are prohibited.
